9:00 am

I'm walking around the West Village looking for Vera's house, drinking some hot coffee in a corner.
Calling up and checking if the LR team is running on time...

10:00 am

We are set to go, Vera is giving us a little tour through her linear apartment, we get to see some of
her plastic toys, collectible Dinosaurs and her collection of Ghost busters cards, which she always
gives away just because their awesome.

10:30 am

We are in the roof top, the cloudy New York day is chasing us off, but David (Photographer) has everything
planned, and the pictures show it!
Everything starts with a good conversation and some amazing jewelry pieces...

11:00 am

After a lot of talking, checking out her new pieces and getting some great shots of what Vera represents, we are done!
Yeah...Its a wrap!

A LiTTLE more about Vera...

She has been living in NY for the last few years, she started to design her Jewelry pieces for her self and some of her closes friends "I make designs I want to have for myself, it's all very selfish. I also try to incorporate a story into each piece, I try to strive for heirlooms quality stuff that will say something about you to your family when passed down. I also have a short attention span so I have to make jewelry that will entertain me or my customer for many years. Something that will grow to be more interesting with time."

The first time i saw her work i was fascinated and delighted, finally some original and detailed pieces to have in our pockets...
Unique creatures, little animal heads, lovely hippo headed sharks and baby doe rings with a pointy tail, inspired in in some of the best plastic figures like Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, Hannibal Lecter and lots of mini plastic fossil bones...Cool!
