Liliana Saumet, Bomba Estereo's vocalist, met up with me right after her show in Mexico so that she could pick some LR exclusive pieces for her shows.
I saw her at the sound check before her concert at Grand Central, Miami. She was craving a “Colombian Sancocho” so I decided to take her to the best Colombian restaurant right around the corner where we enjoyed a delicious Colombian dish.
Liliana seems very humble with a tropical elegance that makes her very unique.
She told us about her experience touring the US and Euroupe and that one of her favorite music festivals is “Fusion” in Berlin. Li described it as an epic location full of bizarre sounds and lights. Fusion takes place at an abandoned Nazi airport where people gather to celebrate music.
After a great talk and some happy bellies, we ended up in my warehouse looking through the LiTTLE RAMONA's rack of vintage treasures where she picked two gold stars to shine at a couple of gigs. Li rocked a black sequin shirt at Grand Central and saved a Ramona psychedelic blazer for an upcoming show!
For those who missed Bomba Estereo's music at Coachella, they just announced a post-Coachella date at the Roxy Theatre on Tuesday, May 24. Opening the show will be La Santa Cecilia.
It was lovely meeting Liliana, such a beautiful woman full of positive energy and talent! Now, enjoy the pictures and music if you may..
